Daily Micah, Late Edition: On the floor
When you're essentially immobile, you spend a lot of time hanging out on the floor. At least, that's been Micah's experience. So he doesn't get lonely, we end up spending a lot of time on the floor, too.

If you're a baby and you also happen to have two older siblings, your mother might put you down to play in a bassinet instead of the floor.
Because she doesn't want you to be trampled to death.
Also, you don't like to be put down, so she doesn't have much experience with this, anyway. =)
