Our trip to Austin was fabulous. We went because Brett got a paper accepted at an SRC conference and his way was already paid. My grandparents on my Mom's side live there and so Micah and I also went so that they could meet him. My grandfather is 95 and my grandmother is 91 so was this was an awesome opportunity! All of my relatives on my Mom's side came down and we made a family reunion of it. We got some professional family photos and four generation pics. Unfortunately, I can't post any of those pics, but there are other great ones!
We stayed with my aunt and uncle. They have several animals and Micah got to meet them! My Dad took Micah to meet the goat
the chickens
one of the cats
and the dogs.
Micah seemed interested but it's hard to say if he really noticed that they were more unique than the shrubs. Here is Micah's, "I'm a hunk," smile with Grandad.
Micah also went on an adventure with Dad,
and with my aunt Angie. Here they are checking out an enormous butterfly on the flowers.
Micah got to meet his two second cousins on my Mom's side, Jay and Taylor.
Here is Micah with my uncle John, my Mom's youngest brother.
Here is Mom and Micah with Uncle Rob.
Micah really liked meeting his great grandparents. They had wonderful things to say to him and made him smile. His great grandmother really charmed him
and his great grandfather could hardly breathe for telling Micah how proud he was of him.
I wish I had brought the video camera along because they both said such wonderful things to Micah, but we just didn't have any space for it. Here are some precious pics, beginning with a 4-gen pic.

That's sooo awesome! I love the pictures! Shout out for great grandad being an ambassador in Argentina! :o) Is it considered stalking when I check your website everyday (sometimes twice)? Don't answer that.
